Talking TTRS - drove home today with Revo Stage 1

Drove about 400 km today to a dealer in The Netherlands. Nice day - top off. Then got to the garage and guys were coming from all over the place to have a look at my car. It seems like a TTRS is still pretty rare in The Netherlands.

It took about 10 minutes to load the program. Then they asked me if I wanted a 5-6 or 7 boost. To avoid driving 400km again I told them to go for the 7 boost.

Afterwards I went for a spin with the guy next to me. He insisted that he wanted to test this with me instead of my girlfriend.

At first I needed to warm up the engine: I only drive it normally at 90 degrees oil temperature.

Then all hell broke loose. Jeez, I though that my car was going to take off

Really impressed with the remap. The good thing is that the s-button is wiped away. Now I can drive normally with the Sport Suspesion.

Turbo kicks in sooner. And once after 3500rpm the thing starts getting really angry However, I expected a little more humph at low revs.

I wonder if the speed limiter has been removed... I guess I will never know... I never drive over 220...

Yesterday I found out something else about REVO. Now I don't think many on here will care but my main interest is motocross, and Revo are directly sponsoring a UK motocross team. Any company that puts money back into my favourite sport is always going to get preference for my hard earned.
The latest 4T motocross bikes have fuel injection so Revo must be developing 'maps' for these as well.
Good on them for supporting Uk sport.
Of course I would only spend the money if the product is good, and in the next couple of weeks I am going to get my RS Revo'd, and will post on here, if anyone is interested.

Oh dear, I feel it is almost inevitable I'll do this now too. Do you think the government do grants for this kind of thing?

Update: got the EPC light on the dash...
I feel no difference in engine power or handling.

I guess I am going to the dealers

Do you have the SPS controller? Flash to stock and back again. That will clear it.
If you have mate with vagcom be worth getting the error code

I will go to the Audi dealer and get it flashed. I know the guy and will do this for me, no problem. He knows the car is tuned.

I have a funny feeling that it has something to do with the valve in the exhaust in Sport-mode. I cannot hear a change in sound. Maybe it is stuck...

Going to make an appointment today. Maybe they will charge me for this as it is tuned. But do not care. I want the car to be in good health.

The error is "Engine Management defect".
I also notice that the power is back to original, no boost feeling when revving.
Audi cannot intervene. They will only reset the system back to original.
I have to go back to Revo to get it flashed again I guess. 400km drive

No SPS controller Jamie. I have to drive to The Netherlands to get it repaired.

Great news!

Revo do seem to sort any issues as quickly as possible, it looks like they're one of the few companies around that still actually value their customers.
