Judging by the shots Rico it does look like form is following function on the RS3 (which is the best look IMHO). The front arches definitely seem to have bit of stretch on them to house 19"s and a wider track (or wider wheel). I can't quite tell on the rear arches.
I quite like the new front end (same as the TT). The twin ovals is an RS trade mark, i'd be very surprised if they fail to appear on this.

That original RS2 is one of the best RS cars there is, honed by Porsche and follows the less is more route perfectly... all very subtle but works perfectly

Honestly Carl, i've looked at the R32, TTS and RS, TT 3.2 to see if there would be any way the far bottom rear valance could be changed out to accomodate pipes on each side. No luck though.

Even if the RS3 comes out on 8P platform i doubt this will help you mate. The rear arches are likely to be flared slightly to run 19 x 8.5 in the offset that Audi will run. This means that the rear bumper is unlikely to match up.

Now the RS front grill on the other hand should certainly be a straight swap.

Depending on the front fenders....most likey they will run 9x19 in a 50+ Offset on the wheels with 255/35/19 all around...

RS5 is gonna be on sale for the next 3 years, production will stop once the next gen A5 arrives, and then resume not too long after.

Has chops of what they could look like. The RS3 has the wrong mirrors as these have already been updated. If they give it square arches like the Rs5 and 6, it could look nae bad in Sportback form. The render further up this page for next gen A/S/RS3 looks a helluva lot better though.
